Now that you know a little bit more about our abandon cart functionality, how to go about customizing your email communication, and your workflow, let's take a look at how we can see how well our automations are doing, and how many customers are actually converting.
From within your TripWorks dashboard, select the reports tab at the top of your page, and head over to your sales conversions report. Here, we can use the date picker to choose our time period, and even a grouping.
These settings just allow you to customize the data you're seeing on the report to fit your preferences. When we scroll down, we can see a quick visual showing us our conversions broken down by day. As we scroll even further, we can see a more detailed breakdown of all of our abandon cart conversions.
In the first column, we'll see automated conversions. Automated conversions means the shopper went to your website, abandoned cart, and then your email and text messages were sent. Customers selected the call to action button within those messages, and ended up converting on their own.
Assisted conversions mean that maybe you saw the abandon cart draft come through on your dashboard, you picked up the phone, you emailed the customer yourself, and you ended up assisting to get that sale completed.
These are what we call assisted conversions. If we scroll down to the bottom, we total up those amounts for you so you can see how many automated versus assisted you had during the time period. Scrolling over to the very right, you'll also see your total net sales.
If you look at this example account, we've had over $12,000 in additional revenue from abandoned carts alone. You can also expand the data inside the report to show all of the trips that were abandoned carts.
For example, on June 2nd, we can open up this trip by clicking into it to see that Erin Horvay was one of our abandoned cart purchases. Keeping an eye on this data might help you go back and readjust your messages, or even create an incentive for team members to pick up the phone and reach out to some of these abandoned carts.
