Our built-in point of sale functionality on TripWorks makes it really convenient and easy for you, the tour operator, to keep all of your retail sales in one place, and even upsell your customers during checkout.
Let's take a look at what it looks like on TripWorks. You can set up your product catalog, simply add a product to your account, enter in an internal label, the unit price, a product description, categorize your products, and more.
From your dashboard, you can easily sell a product by selecting point of sale and tapping on the product that you'd like to sell. Additionally, you can select options to change your dashboard into point of sale mode.
This makes it so that, let's say you have an iPad, you can just simply list your products and no other information on your account. This is great for a product desk or a merchandise counter within your shop if they're just to sell merch and you don't really need to have them see the back end of your account.
You can also pull, you can also open up products inside any trip and easily sell a product and add it right to the customer's existing order. This makes it really easy to charge the card on file if they have a saved one and they're just looking to process payment to complete their amount due.
You can also sell products and list them during checkout for each customer to select. Again, this is a great way to upsell the customers during checkout and increase your cost per ticket. So you can see here they can add on earbuds and select a quantity or sunglasses and then proceed to checkout.
Lastly, reporting on products is super easy. You can report on a breakdown of each product or perhaps you have things categorized. into different sections such as merch, first food, clothing, and so on.
You can also track inventory limits. So let's say that you prefer to keep a total of 10 t -shirts in stock. You'll be able to set those up inside your account. And then if your inventory is running under that stock level, this report will alert you accordingly.
So it's a quick overview on products on TripWorks. If you're interested in setting these up, check out some of our other videos on setting products up and how to list them during checkout and a full walkthrough of the setup process.
